Pulsnitz is Saxony’s “gingerbread town”. The gingerbread market is considered one of the first Christmas markets in the pre-Christmas period. The biscuits have been made in Pulsnitz since 1558.
and since 2003 the market has been held annually on the first weekend in November. All the gingerbread makers and the gingerbread factory are represented at the market. In the gingerbread demonstration workshop
everyone can try their hand at garnishing. But traders with colourful stalls are also present at the market and invite you to stroll and shop.
