The Rheinsberger Bahnhofsfest, which is known far beyond the region, will take place for the 20th time in 2019. One more reason to visit one of Berlin’s classic excursion destinations! There will be a supporting programme consisting of traders, regional gastronomy, shows and colourful market activities around the station with art ceramists and master potters from all over Germany. The romantic castle remains one of Rheinsberg’s most beautiful sights. With hopefully brilliant late summer weather you will also find time for a stroll through the castle park or around the lake. Around midday, the special train leaves for Stechlinsee station at the former Rheinsberg nuclear power station. During the rest of the day the steam locomotive 52 8177-9 is available for cab rides.
