The railway lines in the Ruppiner Land are an attraction for single-train enthusiasts and nostalgics. Old station buildings, signal boxes, wing signals and telegraph poles characterise the Prignitz region.
The journey goes via Löwenberg, Neuruppin, Neustadt (Dosse) to Pritzwalk and from there by bus to Mesendorf, 10 kilometres away. From Mesendorf to Lindenberg, the steam narrow-gauge railway, affectionately known as the Pollo
by the locals. The line was rebuilt by the Verein Prignitzer Kleinbahnmuseum e.V. after being almost completely dismantled for many years. It is now in regular operation again and invites you on 24.10.
